To drive higher value for clients and address the growing demand for global delivery of IT services, IBM opened its Global Delivery Center (GDC) in China in 1999 in Shanghai. Over the past decade, it has become IBM's second largest Global Delivery Center worldwide.
China GDC provides a broad spectrum of services, including consulting, systems integration, application services, maintenance, testing, solution management, business transformation outsourcing services and IT infrastructure services. It also supports leading package solutions, such as SAP, Oracle, Siebel, mainframe and e-business applications.
China GDC provides services to clients worldwide across the locations of Shanghai, Dalian, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Wuhan and on the client sites. All the Global Delivery Centers located around the world comply with IBM’s global practices, processes and methodologies.
In 2009, China GDC has successfully attained both ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 certifications. The ISO certification is another important milestone in the company’s continuous quality improvement efforts following its accreditation of Capability Maturity Model® Integration Maturity Level 5 (CMMI 5) Version 1.2 by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) in 2008. With the latest and highest international standard institutionalized across China Global Delivery’s sites, IBM continues its leadership in quality control in China’s application services outsourcing market.

Responsibilities:
- Integrate technical and application components to meet business requirements.
- Participate in designing the framework of a technical infrastructure, including network, platforms and servers, enterprise enabling, application enabling, security and operations management.
- Design, code and test program modules that meet design specifications.
- Maintain, tune and repair applications in order to keep them performing according to technical and functional specifications; perform preventive maintenance activities; provide user support.
- Create, execute and document the tests necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets performance requirements (technical, functional and user interface).
- Participate in identifying configuration changes to applications so that they meet business process requirements.
- Participate in implementing all actions required to deploy an application; assist in ensuring that the application meets both technical and business needs.
- Define the characteristics, capabilities, inputs, outputs, results, etc., necessary to describe the required functionality of a system, software application, network, training course, user interface or any other technology or product.
- Assist in identifying, analyzing, mitigating and responding to project and operational risks.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years Oracle Retek implementation experience
- Experienced in Oracle Database and able to maintain database effectively using oracle tools and utilities e.g. SQL developer.
- Have hands-on experience in PL/SQL, stored procedure, trigger, functions and package.
- Strong development experience in Oracle forms and report.
- Require strong knowledge of Unix and Shell scripting
- Have hands on experience in Java programming and Java script. Those with advanced java capabilities are preferred including Servelet, EJBs, JSP and etc.
- Preferred experience with Oracle Retail Merchandise system, Oracle retail sales audit, Oracle retail price management and Oracle retail store inventory management, Oracle retail data warehouse.
- Preferred experience with batch scheduling management with Appworx.
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in At least 3 years Oracle Retek implementation experience
- At least 3 years experience in Experienced in Oracle Database and able to maintain database effectively using oracle tools and utilities e.g. SQL developer.
- At least 3 years experience in Strong development experience in Oracle forms and report.
- At least 2 years experience in Require strong knowledge of Unix and Shell scripting
- At least 1 year experience in Have hands on experience in Java programming and Java script. Those with advanced java capabilities are preferred including Servelet, EJBs, JSP and etc.
- English: Intermediate
