Senior PHP developer Across Singapore, Bali (Indonesia), Jakarta Raya (Indonesia), Yogyakarta (Indonesia), Johor (Malaysia), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Penang (Malaysia) Responsibilities: We are seeking a technically competent and widely founded web developer (Code Igniter / PHP / MySQL / JavaScript / HTML / CSS) with excellent communication and autonomous.  You will be a key member of our team, challenged with a variety of complex solutions - some of considerable size, where your talent for programming and analytical approach to system architecture and development comes into play. It is important, that you master creative thinking, have a critical sense, and possess the ability to keep a steady overview and see possibilities instead of obstacles. Although you will be spending most of the day in the depths of object-oriented PHP programming, you will also be involved from the beginning of a project in order to break down the task, and plan the angle of approach together with us.  Your input is expected in the planning, framework design, architecture and database design stage. Afterwards we will maintain project management and collaborate through Skype and an issue tracking system. Requirements: Absolutely literate in PHP programming with minimum 3 years’ experience with hands-on in Code Igniter web development framework. Exposure to Ajax, javascript, HTML 5, CSS 3 and MVC pattern is essential. Experience with source control (subversion). Strong database design skills, solid experience with MySQL. Ability to understand business needs and transform them into software applications. Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. Understanding of Internet technologies – FTP, DNS / Domains. Familiar with Linux environment. Must be a self-starter with high professional standards & integrity together with honesty, courage, autonomy and responsibility. Experience with app development in iOS is a plus. Experience in people management is a plus. Excellent English and communication skills. Location This position is available in the following countries: Malaysia (e.g. Penang, Kuala Lumpur, …) Indonesia (e.g. Batam, Jakarta, Yogyakarta,…) Singapore   it might be possible to work full time from home for this position too.  In that case, high-speed home Internet is mandatory.  Successful candidates will communicate with HQ via Skype every day.  Software needs to be installed on your computer to send automatic screenshots to HQ.  Flexibility is given in exchange of strict control.   Working Time 5 days per week, 8 hours per day with work needed to be done outside working hours when deadlines need to be reached.  We clearly and unmistakably praise the hardworking people, not the clock-watchers.   Supervision You will need to be on Skype from 8am to 5pm everyday.  First reporting time 8am.  Second reporting time 5pm where you summarize what you have done for the day.   Probation time There will be a probation of 2 months from the start date.  At the end of 2 months, we will evaluate your performance.   AdditionalRemarks We will pay a good salary for the right person.
