Preformed Line Products Indonesia (PLP Indonesia), manufacturing hardware for Distribution and Transmission Line is seeking young, motivated candidates to fill the post of: Assistant Production (Manufacturing) Manager for Sheet Metal Fabrication Jawa Barat Responsibilities: Job Summary: This individual will control and manage operation of fabricated sheet metal product related to man power and machine capacity. Responsibilities: Develop and set-up New efficient production/Lean Manufacturing methods. Plan and coordinate production procedures and processes in a high- mix/low-volume sheet metal fabrication plant environment. Regulates and coordinates functions of Production Office and Shop Floor. Lead, mentor and develop a team of shop floor operators and leaders, to enable them to perform more effectively in their respective job functions. Work closely with maintenance section to Develop, implement and sustain preventive maintenance programs for all sheet metal processing equipment. Manage turret punch and press brake (bending machine) and other supporting equipment. Work cross functionally to accomplish all Department and Company/Business Goals Other responsibilities and projects as assigned Key Performance Indicators: Quality Cost Productivity Capacity Utilization Machine Downtime/Utilization Timeliness Safety Requirements: Bachelor degree in Engineering At least 5 years of production experience with 2+ years supervisory experience Prior experience with sheet metal fabrication High degree of mechanical aptitude (reading drawing, analysis, etc) Production/Process/Operations-oriented, systematic, energetic Proven leadership and managerial skills Experience with Lean Manufacturing a strong plus Able to work in a cross functional team environment Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines Excellent communication in English (written and spoken) is a must understand ISO9001 & OHSAS 18001 Good in computer literate Successfull candidate in short notice will be going for up to 2 months training in Australia Please send your application letter and CV to:   idhrd@preformed.asia
