QA Engineer / Team Lead

Responsibilities:
Position 1: QA Engineer
Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing, writing and executing test cases
• Defect / issue logging and tracking
• Building and managing test environments
• Involvement in procedure planning and improvement
• Working closely with the development team to convey test results
You will come to us with:
• Knowledge and experience with regression, functional, performance and integration testing
• Knowledge and experience with software testing tools
• At least 2 years’ experience with testing web-based applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Methodical approach to testing
• Ability to easily adjust to change, such as changes to requirements or testing priorities
• Good understanding of the SDLC
• General technical knowledge of MS products and technologies
Highly desirable:
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server
• Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and building MS server environments
• Microsoft SharePoint knowledge
• AD and WSS / SPS install and configuration
• Experience with Automated testing
• Experience with SCRUM methodology
Position 3: QA Team Lead
The role includes:
• Developing and writing test plans
• Building test environments
• Managing and executing tests
• Co-ordinating testing of new product releases and functionality
• Work closely with the development team to convey test results
• Develop and grow the quality assurance and testing team
Mandatory Skills:
• Knowledge and experience with regression, functional, performance and integration testing
• Knowledge and experience with software testing tools
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Methodical approach to testing
• General technical knowledge of MS products and technologies
Highly Desirable:
• Experience with Microsoft Virtual Server and building MS server environments
• Microsoft SharePoint knowledge
• AD and WSS / SPS install and configuration
QA Manager
You will come to us with:
• Experience successfully leading a team of Testers in a software product development environment, with experience in a Microsoft environment highly regarded
• Experience in planning, managing and executing testing activities
• Knowledge and experience with regression, functional, performance and integration testing
• Knowledge and experience with software testing tools and task tracking software
• Experience testing web based applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to coach, mentor and develop a team
• Ability to easily adjust to change, such as changes to requirements or testing priorities
• Good understanding of the SDLC
• General technical knowledge of MS products and technologies
Highly Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server
