Titan Chemicals commenced construction of its first facility in Malaysia, a RM300 million Polypropylene (PP) plant, in 1989. In just 15 years, our investments have grown twenty-fold and we now have a total of eight integrated process facilities in Pasir Gudang and Tanjung Langsat in the southern state of Johor, Malaysia. Today, Titan Chemicals has a nameplate capacity of over 2,000,000 MTA of olefins, polyolefins and other associated products.

Titan Chemicals produces Malaysia’s most comprehensive portfolio of Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP), two of the most widely used polymers in the world. These polyolefins which contribute to the enhancement of every day life, are used in a variety of consumer, industrial applications and in hospitals - including packaging film, automotive parts, plastic bottles and caps, compounds for wire and cable insulation. Polyolefins replace conventional materials such as metals, glass, paper and wood and ongoing R & D leads to new applications to improve the quality of life.

Executive, IT (Infrastructure) (Johor)  Responsibilities: Provides leadership via knowledge transfers and work as a team to achieve the company goals and strategy. Establish all strategies and plans given by the management through proper planning and smooth implementation of each project. Key in delivering the IT infrastructure and solutions that are aligned with higher level business process. These responsibilities include proposing efficient infrastructure and systems via process re-engineering and process integration to align IT operations with the organization’s business processes. Participate in Disaster Recovery activities as DR team member for the IT systems. Deal directly with all end users on any IT related problems. Impart the required talent via knowledge transfer between teammates to develop mutual understanding and good co-operation between end users and IT team. Communicate with vendors to draft proposals, manage projects and troubleshoot systems issues related to the IT infrastructure. Enforce IT policies and procedures based on business needs. Responsible for continuous enhancement and development of employees’ IT knowledge and skills via the right tools and to effectively capitalize on IT solutions. Understand and acknowledge the influence of corporate culture across all levels of IT functions. To set positive example for new comers to understand the practices. Primary responsibility of keeping all business systems up and running daily. Requirements:  Candidate must possess at least a Degree in IT, computer science or its equivalent. Solid understanding of the processes and technologies employed by desktop and server Development and management of IT operational and capital expense budgets. Strong verbal/written communications and presentation skills. Sound understanding of the major information technology trends and the key issues facing IT organizations. Leadership in systems planning, selection and implementation efforts Experience of working across different cultures and a good team player. Minimum 1-2 years experience in IT infrastructure 1 Full-Time position(s) available.
