China GDC provides a broad spectrum of services, including consulting, systems integration, application services, maintenance, testing, solution management, business transformation outsourcing services and IT infrastructure services. It also supports leading package solutions, such as SAP, Oracle, Siebel, mainframe and e-business applications.

China GDC provides services to clients worldwide across the locations of Shanghai, Dalian, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Wuhan and on the client sites. All the Global Delivery Centers located around the world comply with IBM’s global practices, processes and methodologies.

In 2009, China GDC has successfully attained both ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 certifications. The ISO certification is another important milestone in the company’s continuous quality improvement efforts following its accreditation of Capability Maturity Model® Integration Maturity Level 5 (CMMI 5) Version 1.2 by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) in 2008. With the latest and highest international standard institutionalized across China Global Delivery’s sites, IBM continues its leadership in quality control in China’s application services outsourcing market.

Senior Database Administrator: Oracle
China - Shenzhen

Responsibilities:

Senior Oracle DBA would provides the support on following but not limited to:

• Problem analysis and troubleshooting on database
• Provide Level 2 support to DB Server including off hours as required
• Manage DB subsystem’s availability and performance
• Co-work with internal and external parties for problem solving
• Ensure contract requirements in the statement of work (SOW) are achieved

Requirements:

• Technical Skills: Independently Managing the problems & changes on Oracle standard Database as well as RAC on Unix platform (Soloris is preferred)- Mandatory

• Non-Technical Skills:

1. Could communicate in both written and oral English.
2. Good team work.
3. Good sense of responsibilities.
4. Good sense of process/security compliance.
5. Fast learner.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years’ Oracle database administration experience
• Oracle certification is an advantage

Required

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 6 years experience in Oracle Database Administration
• English: Intermediate

Preferred

• Information Technology
• At least 8 years experience in Oracle Database Administration
• Certified in OCM
• English : Fluent
