Rubber Plantation Manager/Assistant Manager Nigeria - Calabar Responsibilities: • Establishment and management of nursery-clones selection and planting materials • Planting and routine management of plantations • Weed and pests control • Supervision and control of labour • Adherence to safety and health guidelines • Close liaison with plantation adjacent communities and government institutions • Preparation and control of plantation budgets • Weekly and monthly reporting • Involved in matters relating to human resources----organizational training, recruitment and selection of other staffs. • Actively participate in the performance evaluation of employees • Act as liason between the management and employees/staffs. • Direct goals and targets to the staff. Requirements: • At least three years’ experience in a rubber plantation, replanting the old rubber and clearing of forest for new planting • Knowledge of rubber and nursery establishment with various type of planting materials • Ability to work under difficult circumstances and to lead by example. • Computer literate, especially Word and Excel. • Above all, dedicated, committed and honest. • Candidate needs possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree at Agriculture/Aquaculture/Forestry or equivalent. • Required language(s): Conversant in English, preferably Chinese, • Willing to be relocated to Calabar Nigeria • 4 Full-Time position available.
