Hotel Development Director - Jakarta Across Singapore - Overseas Responsibilities: Our client is UK's largest and fastest growing economy hotel chain. As a major owner and operator of economy hotels across the UK & Ireland, Middle East and India, the company is now introducing its successful no-frills hotel concept across Asia Pacific. As part of its ongoing efforts to expand its highly successful economy hotel brand across Asia Pacific, they are seeking to hire a Director of Development Indonesia, to be based in Jakarta. Responsibilities: Sourcing of hotel management agreements to expand the brand across the country. Sourcing of development and co-investment opportunities to support the roll out of the brand. Liaising with development planning and technical services teams across the region. Extensive travel required. Reporting to the Head of Development Asia Pacific. Requirements: 7 to 10 years in a similar role with a solid track record of sourcing management agreements. Understanding of real estate development and investments concepts, with some prior track record of developing/ investing in hotels preferred. General understanding of local regulatory requirements related to operating, developing and investing in hotels. Knowledge of local language. University degree.
