Preformed Line Products Indonesia (PLP Indonesia), manufacturing hardware for Distribution and Transmission Line is seeking young, motivated candidates to fill the post of: Design Engineer for Sheet Metal Fabrication(CAD-CAM) Jawa Barat Responsibilities: Job Summary: This individual will analyze fabricated sheet metal product specifications to determine manufacturing processes and tools required in order to create work orders to establish the sequence of each machine operation. Responsibilities Create CAD layouts and NC programs for CNC Turret Punch Press or ProArc using SolidWorks, Pro-E, and JetCAM software. Interact with supervisor/manager for Sheet Metal Fabrication during initial product designs as well as redesign efforts. Develop flat pattern layouts & processes for new routers. Accurately repeat programming processes as instructed. Design small fixtures as needed for manufacturing processes. Analyze engineering drawings for materials, process fabrication and design elements to determine manufacturing processes & tools required. Performs conceptual design & layout work to develop new or modified products. Must be able to make decisions based on past experience and knowledge of product Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. Requirements: Working knowledge of 2D & 3D Software (Pro E, AutoCad, SolidWorks). Must be a self-starter and able to contribute to design reviews. Uses and is familiar with measuring tools and must be able to perform intermediate mathematical analysis. Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials and other written instructions or procedures. Performs all necessary drawings and documentation in a timely manner. Performs all work in accordance with quality standards. Able to work with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced. Amada, Finn power, ProArc, Jetcam machine experience is advantage Min. D3 in engineering and MUST have 3 years minimum experience drawing or designing in a sheetmetal manufacturing environment. Having good English communication skill both oral and written is advantage.
