Students and staff at Bandung International School (BIS) are expected to be communicators, risk-takers, knowledgeable, principled, open-minded, caring and reflective individuals who are suited to working effectively in a demanding and multi-cultural environment. BIS has around 350 students and staff from over 30 nationalities who use about 120 networked computers and other I.T. learning resources. The school currently has three full-time I.T. Technicians and requires a replacement for one of our staff who will be pursuing further studies abroad. IT Technician Bandung (Jawa Barat) Requirements: Preferred Qualifications and Experience Degree in I.T. I.T. Qualifications and Certifications 3 years I.T. experience in a multi-cultural environment is preferred, although high quality recent graduates are welcome to apply. Fluent in English. Personal Qualities Good communication skills when speaking and writing in English and Indonesian. Excellent technical knowledge and skills. High levels of personal organization. Proactive and assertive. Enthusiastic about professional development. Duties – General Outline Administering the BIS computer network. Ordering I.T. resources. Maintaining and updating the database of I.T. resources in the school. Organizing and supervising I.T. maintenance. Maintaining and updating the BIS website. Carrying out other duties as requested by BIS Administrators. Salary and Conditions Salary – from Rp. 3,638,000 to Rp. 7,203,000 monthly (depending on qualifications and experience). Initial three month probation period; followed by one year contract if candidate is considered suitable. Subsequent two year contract may follow. Working hours – Professional working hours, 5 days per week, 12 days annual leave. Additional benefits after the probation period.
